After the Basin Complex Fires, the Taskforce formed to make
recommendations to government regarding emergency preparedness.
One of the first priorities of the task force is to establish a
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). CERT is a way for the
community to be recognized by county, state, and federal authorities
during emergency incidents. It is also a way for community residents to
get important emergency training.

The work of the taskforce continues working with government on the
protection of our community against wildfire and ensuring our needs are
met by the various agencies charged with that protection.
We continue with the broader scope of promoting community projects in
general in the Cachagua-Jamesburg areas.
One of our goals is to establish a broad community
representation, neighborhood by neighborhood. Please let us know if you
would like to represent your neighborhood.
